The Volumental scanner has a built-in "health check" that will show you that everything is up and running as it should be. It checks the 3 main areas: internet connection, cameras, and software.
To access this Health Check, press the checkmark icon (or exclamation mark if something is wrong) on the homepage of your UI in the top right corner.
- A green dot: working properly
- A red dot: not working as it should
Internet
This check shows if the scanner is online and connected to the internet, and is able to upload the scanning data to the Volumental Cloud. If the internet connectivity is showing red, please go through these instructions to re-connect your scanner.
Cameras
This check shows if the scanner is able to talk to every camera tower. If the camera check has a red dot, please make a scan. A picture will appear on the iPad showing you which camera is not connected, and you will be able to follow the steps from this article, "camera_issues" section.
Software
This check shows if the scanner has the most recent software version successfully installed. Please note that the scanner should not be rebooted or have any other changes made to it during a software update (when the LED ring is spinning green).
